Totoko, Chibita, and Hatabou burst inside the crematorium, panting from fatigue from running all the way from the Matsunos’ house. They look at the parents. Then the decaying Matsuno brothers.
“Oh, thank Akatsuka-sensei, they made it!” Chibita shouts in relief. The smell of decay doesn’t register until a few seconds later. “Oh. Ew.”
" Ew ,” Totoko crinkles her nose. “You all look gross. You smell gross, too! " She pinches her nostrils closed.
"This wasn’t what I was expecting, but I’m glad you’re all alright, dajo..." Hatabou chuckles.
“Wow, you’re all here.” Osomatsu speaks. “I’m touched.”
“Don’t expect this to last long.” Chibita butts in. “You idjits still have a tab to pay.”
“And on that note,” Totoko follows up. “I need more compliments.”
“And I want to spend more time with my friends, dajo.”
Osomatsu notices two certain old men weren’t present.
“Where are Dekapan and Dayon at?” Karamatsu asks not a second later.
“Dekapan’s making a serum that'll turn you idjits back to normal after hearing about the state of your bodies right now.”
“Yeah, you shitty NEETs are literal zombies.”
“Well,” Choromatsu refutes. “We didn’t know we’d come back to life like this !”
"Oh yeah,” Hatabou interrupts. “I saw a skeleton running around town!"
"Iyami," they all say exasperatedly, immediately knowing the other one who died alongside the sextuplet brothers.
Dekapan enters the room with a small bottle in his hand. “Um, we may have a slight problem with the serum.”
“What is it, Dekapan?”
“I only made enough for at least one person.”
“I’m taking it!” Oso snatches the serum from Dekapan’s hand.
“You shitty eldest! I need this more than you!” Choro grabs at Oso and takes the serum.
“Non, non, you pathetic leather-skinned boys,” Kara snatches the serum from Choro. “I need this more, for my Karamatsu—”
“You pieces of shit don’t deserve this,” Todo steals the serum from Kara.
The squabble turns into a fight, with the boys screaming and kicking and grabbing one another for the serum. The others watch in exasperation.
“Even when they die and come back, they’re still as shitty as ever,” Matsuyo grimly remarks. Matsuzo agrees.
After a few hours of cleaning the crematorium and some barely believable explanations to the coroners, the Matsuno family and company return to Dekapan’s lab to turn the boys back to normal.
“Oh man, I didn’t think Dayon would make anything taste great!” Osomatsu spoke while eating one of Dayon’s homemade recipes.
“I had to make something to celebrate your revival, yo~n,” Dayon adds. “But what are you six going to do about your jobs?”
“I don’t have a job yet,” Choromatsu spoke. “So I won’t need to worry too much.”
“On that matter,” Chibita speaks, remembering a few months ago. “Oi, Ichimatsu, You still gotta work tonight, alright?”
“Got it,” Ichimatsu replied in his typical deadpan voice.
“Aww,” Jyushimatsu groans. “I don’t think I’ll be ready to head back to work anytime soon. It was tiring.”
“I hate to say it,” Todomatsu sighs. “But I agree with Jyushimatsu-niisan.”
“Ah, dammit,” Osomatsu sighs. “Looks like my boss will have a hard time believing why I’ve been gone for a while...”
“Hmm, my comrades probably won’t believe me either,” Karamatsu mutters tiredly.
“Tomorrow’s gonna be a drag in the mud,” the brothers sigh several hours later.
